Planning a Successful Video Conferencing

February 17th, 2009 by admin

Planning a successful video conferencing is an important process if you have been assigned that duty in your company. Here are some factors that are required to not only get them right but also to avoid turning the whole event into a nightmare.

1. The shorter the better: Plan your conference, such that you get over with it in not more than a couple of hours. Short conferences help in keeping the audience interested and concentrated in your conference.
2. Plan the video conference in advance: plan your conference way before the scheduled date. When dealing with a conference abroad then your coordination with the overseas party plays a key factor in making or breaking your conference. Keep all the required material and information intact in advance. Finalise the list of attendants and the seating arrangement too.
3. Keep the instruments intact before the D-day: Check the status quo of the equipments before hand to ensure the availability and workability of the equipments.
4. Keep font size big: By using bigger font size for your conference it becomes less tedious for people to look at your presentation. This also makes the attendees feel a lot better.
5. Backup: Always keep a backup plan for yourself as anything can happen on the actual day.

You can do very well with your presentation if you utilise your time and effort in planning it.
